Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to our friendly team at Knox & Devlin Veterinary Surgeons, so we can continue to offer more services to our clients.
Knox and Devlin is based in Whaley Bridge, in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park. This area is known for its breathtaking natural beauty and is an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. The region offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, including hiking, cycling, and rock climbing. The practice has direct train and bus links to Manchester, a vibrant city with a bustling nightlife and an international airport, making it a gateway to other destinations. The practice is conveniently situated beside a train station and bus stop, making it easily accessible to anyone who wishes to commute from Manchester.
We will offer you:
An attractive salary of up to £50k pro rata, dependant on experience
20-minute consults as standard, which can be extended for complex cases
Dedicated ops days
In-practice bonus
A 40 hour working week (part-time hours also considered)
1 in 6 Saturday mornings, with time back in lieu
No out of hours

We are looking for someone who is capable of working sole charge, if required, confident with routine surgeries and being a team player. We can also support a recent graduate vet too.
We offer exceptional levels of care to our very loyal client base. You will have the freedom to work up your own cases but also have support if needed and access to referral centres and CVS hospitals.
