Overview

If you are an experienced SMT Reworker looking to work in a high-tech and advanced technology business, this could be the role for you.

Assembling state of the art, complex, high value electronics - you will be working to the highest standards, working to a right first time ethos at all times.

This is a busy time for our client, so overtime will be available on a daily basis.

SMT Reworker Requirements:

• Must have experience of Surface Mount PCB Reworking & Soldering within a high-end production environment
• Ideally you will be certified to a minimum of IPC-610, J-Std or 7711-21/22 standard, or have good working experience to this standard
• Have a good general understanding of industry standards and regulations in order to ensure machinery and equipment are operated safely
• Proven experience of all aspects of surface mount soldering, de-soldering and reworking of boards.
• Have good attention to detail to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards
• Must have experience of working in a high technology environment

SMT Reworker Responsibilities:

• Working in a small team of specialised assembly technicians, you will be de-soldering boards and components, cleaning boards and replacing faulty components on a regular basis.
• Production of products to the highest quality and reliability standards are paramount
• Perform/prepare build, test or inspection activities before and during product manufacturing
• Proven ability to understand and follow technical drawings
• Support inspection of electronics assembly
• Contribute to the process of continuous improvements to achieving zero defects in accordance with ISO9001
