Description
The key responsibilities for the SNAM - ASDA will include:
- Day to day management of accounts, identifying customer's daily, weekly and seasonal requirements for each commodity and developing a strategic yet sustainable long-term account plan.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of product ranges, specifications, sources of supply and understanding of customer's and supplier's business opportunities.
- Daily buyer contact - developing strong relationships and networking across the account and industry
- Category Management, creation and execution of category specific JBPs
- Preparing annual customer JBPs by volume and value while driving company budget processes. Continually monitoring and delivering against agreed and targeted budgets / gross trading contribution.
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within ASDA.
- Monitor and analyse account EPOS, market info, and competitor trends to drive customer service, range utilisation and review
- Responsible for sales debtor reports, ensuring invoices are paid on time, and in full, by liaising with Finance Department
- Actively review and manage customer specifications to ensure margin delivery within market conditions
- Continuous collaboration with sourcing and planning teams with full consideration to forecasting, shelf life, margin, and yield management to ensure consistent delivery against service level targets
- Build, enhance and develop sourcing relations and framework to deliver significant added value, R&D, innovation through cost efficiency's, weather, labour, logistics etc
Profile
The successful SNAM - ASDA will have:
- Extensive experience working within UK Fresh Produce, global supply value chain and chilled category management!
- An understanding of agriculture/agronomic
- International experience in terms of logistics, cultural and motivations
- An understanding of BRC, Leaf, TNC, Global Gap, ETI and Organics (desirable)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commercial and resilient
- Degree level or Equivalent
- Full UK Driving License
