SalarySenior Practitioner – Residential Childcare
21 Health & Social Care are recruiting a Senior Practitioner for a well organised Local Authority Residential Childcare service. This is a contracting post for approximately 2 months. The main duties will be taking responsibility as the lead worker on shift, engaging with and supporting Children & Young People in line with The Promise, and Support & Supervision of 9 FTE Night staff. Engaging with families, multi-agency working and reporting to the Care Inspectorate as required. The contract will be for 36 hours per week, three 12-hour-shifts per week from 12pm to 12am including working 1 out of every 2 weekends.
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants must have experience of support & supervision of staff in a Residential Childcare setting. Ideally qualified with an SVQ4 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalents, PDA in Safeguarding and Supervision is also desirable.
