Protocol Education is recruiting individuals to work full time within one of our partnership schools in Newcastle or North Tyneside. This is a very rewarding role and is a great opportunity for those who wish to pursue a career within the education system.
It is preferable that candidates have either personal or professional experience interacting with individuals who have SEND or SEMH however it is not essential for the role. We look for candidates who are passionate about improving students experience while in education. It would also be beneficial for candidates to have completed studies within a relevant field such as Psychology, Mental health or Counselling.
You will be expected to work one-to-one or with a small group of students in order to support their personal and educational development.
These role begin on a temporary basis to ensure you are a good match for the child, however due to the students requiring consistency the majority of our staff obtain long term if not permanent placements within one of our partnership schools.
Requirements:
- The right to work in the UK.
- Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
- Available to work Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30.
- Is a confident individual.
- Has positive communication skills.
- Is passionate about education and support young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
