Role: Qualified Teaching AssistantLocation: Cheadle, StockportStart Date: ASAPHours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans
- Foster a positive learning environment conducive to the Social and Emotional growth of students
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) to ensure student progress and well-being
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEND children and supporting social-emotional requirements
- Ideally possess an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs
