Overview of a Social Care Advisor:
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Social Care Advisor: to join an expanding team. The role of a Social Care Advisor has a competitive pay rate of £16.86per hour, increasing in line with Harrow Council Pay Scale increments. Other benefits include, accruing up to 28 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to apply for any internal permanent roles within Harrow Council.
The Main Purpose of a Social Care Advisor:
- To refer customers onto other Access Harrow teams (e.g. Housing, Adults, etc) who require other Council services.
- To log all customer contacts on to the relevant systems (SAP CRM, MVM, Northgate, etc)
- To respond as appropriate to general Email and webform enquiries coming into the Contact Centre
- To answer in a professional manner all telephone/email enquiries coming into the Contact Centre, ensuring the highest standards of customer care are maintained.
About you, the successful Social Care Advisor will have:
- Must be able to search information systems and use own knowledge to provide information, advice, and guidance, and to resolve requests.
- Must be able to advise on a range of options, suggest alternatives and/or improved solutions.
- Must be able to prioritise and plan own workload and have excellent organizational skills.
- Must be IT literate and confident in the use of basic IT systems.
- Must have a clear understanding of the diverse nature of Harrow's communities, the implications for Access Harrow and the impact on Harrow's residents and service users.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels actively listens and responds to the customer as appropriate: good written communication skills.
