About the role:

I'm working on behalf of an outstanding school that works with pupils who require intervention and additional support in managing their behaviour, or when they are persistently unable to attend their mainstream school placement. This can often be at a point of personal crisis or where their underlying needs haven’t yet been identified. You'll be able to directly assist these pupils be able to reach their potential, that may not have been realised in other mainstream schools.

Your role will include:

  • Utilize existing planning resources while injecting your creativity and expertise.
  • Being compassionate and resilient nature.
  • Teaching students with SEND/SEMH in specialist classes or groups
  • Teaching in a range of environments tailored to each pupil
  • Working 1-1 with pupils who require additional support
  • Liaising with teachers/SENCO/Year Leaders
