Job description

The role of Social Impact Manager will support the Churchill business to achieve our mission to enable sustainable development in communities in which we work. This role will influence and drive our social value strategy. As Social Impact Manager, you will influence and drive our social value initatives. You will be integral in leading our efforts in creating, enhancing and delivering the social aspects of our ESG strategy.

This is a great opportunity to build on our practices and processes aligned to the business strategy and local social value plans to enable us to scale, capture and calculate qualitative and quantitative inputs and outcomes.

As Social Impact Manageryou’ll be:

  • Working closely with our internal teams, external partners, and the community to influence, develop, and implement programmes that align with our social value strategy and Set for Success goals.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders about progress and the latest trends in social value
  • Developing and delivering social value-focused campaigns and engagement programmes
  • Working closely with the communications team to lead to help drive positive trade media relations, helping demonstrate our approach to creating social value and legacy.
  • Producing project case studies in line with the overall ESG strategy
  • Representing the company at community events, forums and conferences related to social value and CSR.
  • Tracking and reporting on the progress and impact of social value projects using relevant metrics and KPIs.
  • Indirectly leading a team of Social Value Ambassadors to enable high-performing, output driven, social value focused plans and initiatives

As Social Impact Manageryou’ll have:

  • Experience of working in an organisation in a similar role
  • Evidence of influencing multiple stakeholders and enjoy being very hands on in supporting the regional teams and business units.
  • Confidence in driving the business and demonstrating best practice.
  • A can-do attitude and show that you can influence the key behaviours with the ability to operate at all levels within the business.
  • Strong project management skills
  • A thirst for keeping up to date with social value trends.
  • Confidence in engaging with clients.
  • Commercial mind and results driven.
