Social Media Executive

As a result of our client’s expansion plans, and continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Social Media Executive to be based at a Head Office in Plymouth.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive person, able to work against tight deadlines with outstanding prioritization skills. The right candidate will keep multiple Social Media channels updated whilst remaining brand focused and seek out new Social Media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences and increasing company turnover.

Responsibilities:

• End to end management of the company Social Media channels, reporting to the Social Media manager.
• Create engaging and dynamic written, graphic, and video content.
• Engage in Social Media presence creation on new and emerging Social Media platforms.
• Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO).
• Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites and encourages audience participation.
• Assists Social Media team with large projects.
• Works as part of a team to develop large Social Media campaigns.

•  Monitor competitor activity.
• Proposes new ideas and concepts for Social Media content.
• Be knowledgeable in Social Media trends and integrate these into the business.
• Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.
• Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics. 
• Develop strategies for growing sales & increasing awareness.
• Work cohesively with in-house teams to ensure targets are met.
• Implement influencer endorsements to support the overall Social Media strategy.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok.
• Transferable creative flair.
• Analytical skills.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Design experience or skills on Adobe / Corel / Photoshop desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of google analytics.
• Knowledge of paid advertisements desirable.
• A team player, capable of independent thinking but naturally collaborative in spirit.
