37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Grade 5 Salary £34,396 - £38,697 per annum
12 Months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

The Role:
To achieve its charitable aims, Erskine must raise well over £10million in voluntary income per year to provide unrivalled care for Veterans and their spouses. The Social Media role is vital in supporting this aim, and we are looking to recruit a Social Media Officer, for a one year term, to take up this post on a maternity cover basis.
The Social Media Officer will develop and implement Erskine’s Social Media strategy (across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin), to help boost visibility, donations, e-commerce and stakeholder engagement. This involves managing the organisation's online presence by developing action plans, producing content, working closely with Fundraising and Communications colleagues, analysing data, supporting community engagement, and managing projects and campaigns. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop Erskine’s marketing and communications audience growth strategies via engaging storytelling; delivering captivating campaigns which coordinate with the organisational and fundraising strategy.
Key elements of the role include building on and developing revenue-generating campaigns such as lead generation and direct debit sign ups. The postholder must have extensive knowledge of Social Media platforms including paid advertising, particularly on Facebook.
The role will be combined with other marketing and communications responsibilities as part of the wider remit.
