We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Value Manager to join our Business Development team based at our Head Office in Warrington, Cheshire, WA1 3SE. This is a brand new role.

Salary: £46,983 per annum.

Contract: 39 hours per week.

As Social Values Manager, you will take ownership of our organisational Social Value strategy and deliver an agreed-upon plan with clear outcomes measurement. You will also manage the Fundraising, Marketing, Co-production, and Volunteering functions.

The post is strategically critical to the charity’s ability to identify, measure, and promote its Social Value and social return on investment to the people we support, carers, commissioners, and the sector we operate in. The post holder will work closely and collaboratively with all stakeholders to develop positive working relationships that will enhance our ability to identify and deliver on our Social Value strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing line management support and leadership to Fundraising, Marketing, Volunteering, and Co-production leads, ensuring that Social Value is a consistent theme across all work streams
  • To Identify and drive Social Value projects and programmes within communities to maximise benefits to local people

For this role, you will need to work independently with the wider business development team on competitive bids and tendering across the region.

  • To seek innovative and creative ideas to support digital inclusion
  • Contribute to business development activity, including bid submissions
  • Devise and monitor a performance management and reporting Social Value framework

Candidates must have a relevant qualification in Social Values or be willing to work towards one. Leading and managing projects and programmes in a similar sector is essential for this role.

Strong organisational and time management skills are required. You must also be unafraid to take risks, try new approaches, and continuously seek improvement.
