An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker Co-ordinator to join a busy and established Administration Team within Children’s Services in Havant.
Your administration skills and talent for organisation will be highly valued here in the Children’s Services team. We can offer you a genuinely varied and responsible position and the chance to play a supporting role in helping the county’s most vulnerable children.
Based in Havant, our team works to safeguard children, promote their welfare and maximise their life chances. We want you to work alongside other PAs and Social Workers to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, while reducing the administrative burden on Social Workers.
The more efficient and effective your contribution, the more our Social Workers can focus on direct work with children and families.
The role requires someone who is confident and pro-active, not afraid to use their initiative with excellent administration, organisation, and communication skills. In addition, the role requires good analytical skills, self-motivation, and the ability to multi task.
We can offer hybrid flexible working from home and in our modern offices based in Havant.
We are transitioning to a Family Help model of delivery as outlined in The Independent Review of Children's Social Care which reported in May 2022 and the government's response paper 'Stable Homes, Built on Love'. You will be recruited to the Family Help team who will be in transition to move in a Family Help model of delivery.
