AddressOperations Manager within Adult Learning Disability Social Work Services
Full time position available in Renfrewshire on a temporary basis for initially 3 months +
£47p/h to £60p/h – 35 hours per week
21 HSC are looking to recruit an Operations Manager for Renfrewshire Councils Adults Learning Disability Social Work Services, who will have responsibility for leading, managing and developing Community Health and Social Work services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide management and leadership to a range of professional health and Social Work staff within the community integrated team.
- To have specific line management responsibility for all Social Work staff.
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of systems and processes in line with operational standards.
- Work with heads of profession across the HSCP and the GGC Board area and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure policies and procedures are in place and adhered to in order to support effective care pathways between services and partner agencies.
- Ensure that services are delivered within agreed budgets.
- Deputise and provide cover for the Operations Manager and Head of Service as required
Skills and Attributes:
- It is essential to have a Degree in Social Work or other recognised Social Work qualification.
- It is essential to have previous experience in managing adult support and protection work.
- Qualification in Management is highly desirable.
