Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct social work on allocated cases, creating outcome-based plans while considering children and families' needs and risks.
- Foster strong relationships with children, young people, and their families to enhance the effectiveness of your work and align service plans with their views.
- Apply evidence-based practices to address needs within resource constraints and statutory responsibilities, following council policies.
- Ensure individual performance meets national standards and performance indicators, with regular supervision.
- Participate in routine auditing to maintain high standards of social work practice and record-keeping, adhering to the Quality Assurance Framework.
Requirements:
- Hold a professional Social Work registration or equivalent (SWE)
- Post graduate experience across safeguarding and/or assessment
- Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
- Must drive and have access to own vehicle.
