We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join our dedicated team and help make a positive impact on the lives of young people in our care.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children In Care and Care Leaver Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children in care and care leavers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to children in care and care leavers.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and resources.
- Advocate for the best interests of children and ensure their rights are upheld.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior Social Workers within the team.
- Maintain accurate case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices in social work.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Registered SWE
- Substantial experience in social work, particularly in the context of children in care and care leavers.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
