Salary: £35 per hour
Rotherham Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Localities Children Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children and families in Rotherham, promoting their well-being and safeguarding their rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in assigned localities.
- Providing support, intervention, and advocacy to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
- Collaborating with multi-agency teams, including health, education, and social care professionals.
- Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and adapt support as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with experience in children's services.
- Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
- Knowledge of child protection procedures, legislation, and best practices.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
