Nonstop Care is working with a local authority in the South East of England area that is looking for a Social Worker to join their Mental Health and Substance Misuse Team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Apply legal frameworks adeptly, demonstrating legal literacy in acts such as Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
• Foster professional curiosity through critical reflection and creative practice in diverse situations.
• Model best social work practices, support junior colleagues, and contribute to a flexible, adaptive work environment.
• Lead high-risk and complex cases, overseeing section 42 enquiries and Court of Protection applications.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
• Ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
• Enhanced DBS
• Full drivers licence with vehicle access
