Pay: Up to GBP40 per hour
Contract: Full Time Locum - 3 months ongoing

Our client in Berkshire is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their flourishing Safeguarding team in Childrens Services.

They need a Qualified Social Worker that is ready to help vulnerable children and their families really succeed and affect change. There are lots of progression opportunities too, with regular panels in place for internal promotions. The Managers are there to help you achieve your goals as much as you are there to help them achieve theirs.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough s47 investigations into suspected cases of child abuse or neglect.
• Assessing the needs and risks of children and families to determine appropriate interventions.
• Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with other agencies and professionals.
• Providing support and guidance to children and families involved in safeguarding processes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.
• Collaborating with colleagues, including other Social Workers, health professionals, and law enforcement agencies, to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

You will need to have completed an ASYE with 2 years of post qualified experience in Childrens Services to be eligible for this post in Berkshire for a Qualified Social Worker.

As well as an ASYE, you also need:

• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• Right to Work in the UK
