Liverpool Council is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Social Worker to join thei team on a locum basis. This role offers an initial 6-month contract, a competitive hourly rate of up to £42, and a hybrid working model with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct safeguarding assessments and interventions in line with statutory regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to data protection standards.
Provide support and guidance to families, caregivers, and individuals involved in safeguarding processes.
Participate in regular supervision sessions and team meetings.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration.
Proven experience in safeguarding within a local authority setting.
In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
