We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Social Worker or Senior Social Worker in our Corporate Parenting division. Roles and Responsibilities:
Social Worker:
- Manage a diverse caseload, including safeguarding, with increasing autonomy.
- Demonstrate expertise in specific areas of social work practice.
- Utilize a range of frameworks for assessment and intervention.
- Provide support and guidance to trainees and colleagues.
- Engage in regular supervision sessions to ensure effective practice and career development.
- Stay updated on current issues and evidence-based practices in the field.
- Challenge discriminatory practices and promote inclusivity.
- Take proactive measures in response to emergency situations.
- Exercise cost-consciousness in resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records and reports using appropriate systems.
Senior Social Worker:
- Manage complex caseloads autonomously, providing expert guidance.
- Offer professional supervision and support to other Social Workers.
- Provide technical advice to colleagues and partners.
- Utilize advanced frameworks for assessment and intervention.
- Model professionalism and effective caseload management.
- Establish and maintain networks to support effective practice.
- Prepare court reports and participate in legal proceedings.
- Chair professional meetings with partners and clients.
- Contribute to team planning and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Registration with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England).
- Relevant experience in social work practice, preferably within child protection and Corporate Parenting.
- Demonstrated expertise in specific areas of social work practice.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
