Hays are working in partnership with a Leicester-based Sixth Form College who are seeking a Sociology Teacher from January until July.
The college is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Sociology Teacher to join their team from January on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cover the curriculum and prepare students for their exams. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the department and participate in extracurricular activities.
To be considered for this job, you must have:
- A relevant degree in Sociology or a related field
- A PGCE/QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching Sociology up to A level
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
- A DBS check or willingness to obtain one
