Role: Soft Services Manager

Location: Slough

Salary: GBP38,600

Duties:

Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of site staff, cleaners, catering team and grounds manager and operatives across 3 local schools.

Develop and enforce safe systems of work while also ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.

Take charge of managing staff attendance by creating and managing rotas, conducting return to work interviews, and initiating disciplinary procedures when necessary.

Conduct regular monitoring and audits of the sites to assess standards and performance levels.

Design and deliver comprehensive training documentation and workshops tailored to the specific needs of staff.

Foster positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders, including school leadership, clients, and external parties such as Environmental Health Officers and auditors.

Skills Required:

Minimum of 3 years of Facilities Management experience, preferably within the Public Sector.

Previous experience managing KPIs and SLAs.

Strong background in building relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders.

Comprehensive experience in managing FM service delivery, including direct and outsourced management, financial management, and leadership, along with proficiency in FM software packages and familiarity with PFI processes.
