Soft Woven Designer - Ladieswear

We are looking for anexperienced Soft Woven Designer to join a lovely client who are a well-established supplier to several large retailers and supermarkets They are looking for a candidate with a strong background in woven with extensive experience working with Turkish production with a commercial, handwriting and experience with volume retailers.

You must have a great eye for trends and for print and will work closely with the design team to create the ranges. You must have experience presenting stories, concepts and designs to Buyers and will need to be trend-driven and be able to drive product development with a commercial eye. You will be hands on and working with other designers This is a London Based role offering hybrid working.

Main duties will include:

• Developing key accounts offering through strong relationship building and great product development.
• Work closely with and report back to leadership team.
• Creating on-trend, forward-thinking, commercial women swear designs.
• Implementing direction and innovation for the season across print, fabric and trim.
• Communicating effectively with all internal and external teams
• Overseeing the development of all sampling ensuring deadlines are met.
• People management and strong collaboration with the rest of the team

Person specification:

• Able to work at pace and be good at prioritising multiple requests and working to several deadlines simultaneously.
• Relevant supplier experience is essential within a commercial environment within ladies wovens multiproduct
• Experience working with short lead production. Turkey
• A strong understanding of the current trends and the ability to look forward and anticipate new trends.
• CAD and illustration skills.
• Experienced and confident in presenting ideas, trends, and design work.
