WHAT TO EXPECT
At JLR, software is at the heart of some of the most complex electronic engineering we do. Being at the forefront of innovation, as a Software Architect, you will be an integral part of shaping JLR’s next-generation vehicle programs.
You will work closely with suppliers and teams to guide them through all the phases of the software development lifecycle phases, namely requirements, design coding, and validation.
You will contribute to the mission of delivering the most innovative software solutions. You will be part of the team that drives product strategy and collaborate closely with engineering development and cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next vehicle programs. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Management of functional and non-functional requirements for the SW Platform
- Leader of high-level design (HLD) and system interactions for the defined use cases
- Definition of quality attributes for subsystem realising functional area of expertise
- Supplier management for a compliant and high-quality software delivery
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Ability to build and drive high-performing software teams and work in close partnership with product, architecture, and business leadership to achieve the optimum degree of integration and operational synergy
- Experience delivering QNX, Classic, and Adaptive AUTOSAR embedded systems
- Experience in delivering ECUs capable of Software over the air including flash bootloader
- Ability to design and develop dynamic and static architectural concepts
- Experience in the design and development of C++ and AUTOSAR components
