Day Rate: £500 - £700 Flexible D.O.E.
Gloucestershire location with hybrid working available
Must have active DV security clearance
We are looking for an experienced Software Defined Networking Specialist to join our client's team on a 12 month rolling contract. You will be collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver critical networking projects.
Essential Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Software Defined Networking and NSX-T
- Strong security focus and understanding of network security best practices
- Hand-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies including vSphere / ESXi and vCenter
Desirable Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven problem solving and fault finding abilities
- Knowledge of network virtualization concepts
- Knowledge of automation and scripting
Helpful Skills:
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments
- Knowledge of working in agile teams
- Proven ability to perform under pressure
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, and JIRA Service Desk
