About the Role:

As a Software Development Lead, you will take the reins of a dedicated team of 3-6 developers, playing a pivotal role in driving the success of their projects. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll contribute both technically and managerially.

Key Responsibilities of the Software Development Lead:

* Agile Project Management:

- Direct sprint activities and supervise sprint ceremonies.

- Devote to sprint objectives and guarantee prompt delivery on goals set.

- Provide managerial insights regarding project challenges and obstacles.

- Champion the technological aspects, ensuring adept utilisation of proficiency in .NET, C#, and Azure DevOps, both individually and collectively within the team.

* Team Leadership:

- Mentor, and motivate a group of 3-6 software developers.

- Conduct weekly 1-2-1's for ongoing support and development.

- Perform quarterly reviews and establish objectives for continuous improvement.

* Technical Ownership:

- Own and manage 6 services within the team's portfolio.

- Collaborate with the team to develop, document, and maintain services.

- Contribute hands-on expertise, dedicating 25%-50% of your time to coding.

* Collaboration and Solution Engineering:

- Foster inter-team collaboration for seamless project delivery.

- Work closely with the architect on solution engineering, contributing to level 3 diagrams.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Expert experience with .NET and C#.
* Expert experience with Azure DevOps and Microservices.
* Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
* Ability to thrive in a rapidly growing business.
* Demonstrated patience and pragmatism in project delivery.
