A prominent Technology brand in Manchester City Centre are continuing to expand their Engineering teams in 2024 and as part of their continued success are hiring for Backend Software Engineersat Senior, Principal or Tech Lead levels.
This particular team are looking for experience across JVM languages, particularly Java, Python or Kotlin, along with strong TDD, Spring and Restful API knowhow.
They are on a mission to build a technology platform to power both their own business, but also those across their wider industry; utilising their public-facing web services and additional external data sources.
The platform is powered by Spring Boot, Apache SOLR, Cloud SQL and Apache Kafka and it currently processes millions of events per day and handles thousands of requests per second.
As a Software Developer - whether it be a hands-on Senior, or a Tech Lead overseeing a team - you'll play a key role in ensuring service availability and responsiveness continue to improve.
