Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Embedded Software Engineer for our client based near Northampton.

You will have regular personal development interaction with your manager and be encouraged to increase and improve your range of skills through mentoring and external sources of knowledge. Exceptional input and actions are recognised and rewarded in this company.

The Embedded Software Engineer should ideally have:

• Strong experience with microcontroller programming (PIC, ARM, Atmel AVR…)
• Ability to use debugging tools and possess strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable
• Ability to write code using best practice methods for the selected applications
• Experience with IoT & LoRa desirable
• Self-driven
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Embedded Software Engineer role will involve:

• Writing, testing, and debugging embedded software for various applications
• Being hands on with the design, build and test of products
• Working to deadlines and schedules
• Working with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Maintaining good version control
