We are a focused team of exceptionally talented engineers, developers and designers committed to helping Santander deliver value through use of latest technologies and ideas including AI, Chatbots, Big Data etc. and developing our team through continued learning and challenging the ways of working to accelerate innovation trough agility, design thinking and hypothesis driven development.
You will be the lead engineer, guiding the team and supporting various activities to deliver the product.

What you’ll bring.
- Extensive knowledge of working with distributed infrastructure systems and client-server architectures.
- Good experience in Application Development using Java.
- Experience in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Serverless, DynamoDB and Kinesis.
- Excellent working knowledge of Spring Boot platform and Spring Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker, Git, GitHub, Openshift and MicroServices Architecture.
It would be nice for you to have.
- JavaScript coding experience
- AWS architecture knowledge
- Experience on Google Dialog Flow or any other intent based NLUs
- CRM experience
What else you need to know:
This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week
