Software Engineering Manager – EV Charging

Software Engineering Manager required to join an emerging and highly backed Electric Vehicle charging company based in London (Soho).

This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week working from the company’s office and the rest of the week working remotely. The salary range for this position is £100,000 – £115,000 per annum.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure the successful delivery of software projects.
• Spearhead the scaling of the Software Engineering division, with budget to immediately hire and projections of doubling the size of the team by the end of 2024.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise software development needs.
• Develop and maintain software development processes and standards, promoting continuous integration and deployment.
• Ensure that software development projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Work with stakeholders to define software requirements and ensure that they are met.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.

Experience Required:

• At least 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a management role.
• Experience in developing and delivering software projects using Agile methodologies.
• Previously led hiring campaigns and liaised with internal and 3 rd party suppliers to attract the desired talent.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
• Experience in managing software development teams and delivering high-quality software products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
