RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for a Software Integration, Test & Validation Engineer to support and join their expanding teamOur client offers a wide range of unique opportunities available to suit some of the best people and brightest minds in the automotive industry.They are positioned to become the most desirable Asian brand in Europe, and they need your help to get there.Position Description:Software Integration, Test & Validation EngineerRate: Negotiable (via Umbrella)SW Integration Engineer to support deliveries of Software deliveries in the Electrical Lab, Test Coordination, Engineering Bread Boards (EBBs) & SW Validation Fleet, SW BOM, Network Topology, Diagnostics and Netcom Develop sign-off test methods for EBBs & vehicles and apply them in line with internal engineering gateways.Support delivery of E/E System level testing specifications and subsequent test delivery with partners in Vehicle Engineering Validation. Support EOL/Diagnostics team with CV program delivery of all requirements, including development and delivery of new Flexible Network Architecture, Zero Fault Forward to improve plant EOL and downstream customer quality. Develop sign off test methods for EBBs and Vehicle testing Performance targets are met, and all Diagnostic Trouble Codes are managed in line with launch requirementsSkills Required:Knowledge of Software development, control and tracking processes.Knowledge of software flash processes.Experience of debugging complex systems.Knowledge of Vehicle Electrical Network Systems.Experience of CAN and Diagnostic tools such as CANalyzer, DET or Interpret.Experience of manufacturing plant EOL processes and systemsSkills Preferred:Cross Carline SW Development, Validation Debug Process KnowledgeExperience Required:Demonstrated experience of automotive E/E SystemsDemonstrated excellent Project Management / Co-ordination skills.Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills.Ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand format.Experience of working with global and cross-functional teams.Experience Preferred:Experience of company Product Development processes including GPDS.
