Fully remote or hybrid, based in the UK or Ireland, with salary between 40K- 55K (depending on experience) and benefits including pension, and 25 days holiday.

My client is a leading ERP company with a global customer base. They have been building enterprise software for service-based customers for over 20 years.

The Software Support Engineer will be part of a team that provides technical support services to customers in the UK. This will suit someone from a development background with a solid understanding of OO Programming, who is support minded, analytical and a good problem solver, someone that is inquisitive and keen to learn new and unfamiliar technologies.

Essential requirements for the Software Support Engineer:

• Significant experience with one or more OO based programming or scripting languages such as C, C++, VB, C#, other .net language or Python
• Experience with business application Software Support
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work

Desirable skills:

• Web services (Apache / SOAP / REST)
• Linux or AIX
• Database (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
