Our client is an exciting, growing technology company who work on commercial and Defence project!
This is a really fantastic opportunity as they are looking for an experienced Software Tester to develop and drive the automation testing capability.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days on site and the option of a 9-day fortnight.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the test automation capability for a particular product, which will provide a foundation for future.
- Document test scripts and develop automation solutions to improve the quality of products.
- Develop and maintain high-quality test cases to be executed against software and hardware products.
- Author and review of formal test documentation.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, planning and design meetings.
- Review and recommend test process improvements.
Skills & experience
- The desire to drive forward testing processes and be an ambassador for automation testing.
- Experience working on Linux platforms.
- Experience with continuous integration platforms (e.g., Gitlab CI).
- Understanding of IP/networking concepts and cryptographic concepts is desirable.
- Scripting experience such as Python, Bash, C/C++.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Able to work individually or as a member of a multi-discipline team.
