Job Title: Software Tester
Location: Outskirts of Saffron Walden
Salary: £negotiable DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week (flexible start time)
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Our client based on the outskirts of Saffron Walden is looking for an Software Tester to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
As Software Tester you will be responsible for:
* Test script design & producing reports
* Automated & manual testing
* Analysing requirements
* Providing feedback on suitability of software
* Analysing software quality
* Working on a variety of projects
* Liaising with other departments to resolve customer issues
An ideal candidate for the Software Tester will have:
* Experience in investigating and reporting defects using tools such as Jira
* A strong testing background, experienced in all aspects of the end to end testing lifecycle
* Ability to improve testing processes
* Experience in designing, writing and executing test plans, test cases and test scripts
* Excellent communication skills.
