Software Trainer

Sullivan Brown are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Software Trainer to join our SaaS client. As a Software Trainer, you will play a crucial role in researching, designing, and creating learning materials and programs to educate our clients and employees on the effective use of our facilities management software. Your primary goal will be to support our customers in building on their knowledge of best practice in facilities maintenance, sharing ideas and concepts around how to work and apply legislative and best practice standards and guidance, and ensure that users of our software have a comprehensive understanding of our software’s features and capabilities, enabling them to optimise their facilities management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis:

• Build a deep understanding of the requirements of our customers in their day-to-day roles based on conversations and interactions across our customer base and with internal members of the team.
• Develop a robust understanding of our facilities maintenance software to gain a deep understanding of its features, functionalities, and updates.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to facilities management.

Training Material Development:

• Design and develop training materials, including user guides, manuals, online tutorials, and support in the development of interactive e-learning modules.
• Create engaging and informative presentations and visual aids to facilitate effective training sessions.

Training Program Design:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive training programs tailored to different user groups, such as clients, employees, and partners.
• Customise training content to meet the specific needs and skill levels of diverse audiences.

Training Delivery:

• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and remotely, to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Provide hands-on training and support to users, addressing questions and issues in real-time.

Feedback and Improvement:

• Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs and materials.
• Stay current with software updates and make necessary updates to training materials and programs.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Ensure accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and performance assessments are made within our CRM system.
• Generate regular reports on training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Software Trainer or in a similar role, preferably in the facilities management or software industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
• Proficiency in using training development tools and software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Adaptability and a willingness to stay current with evolving software features and industry trends.
