Solar & Bess Development Manager - Uk -

An opportunity for an exceptional Development Manager to join one of the largest developers in the UK and ensure their long-term solar and BESS pipeline nationwide.

You will report to the Head of Development and ensure the full development process from site identification through grid connections and planning to financial close.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the development process of both utility-scale solar and battery storage projects.
• You will be identifying new sites across the UK.
• You will be responsible for planning submissions and process.
• You will be identifying new sites as well as ensuring all planning applications.
• You will be covering all technical aspects such as grid connections and HV requirements.
• You will create and develop strong relationships with all stakeholders (local authorities, land owners…) to ensure success and best solutions.
• You will be conducting negotiations and ensuring long-term partnerships with a various range of stakeholders.

• Profile:
• Experience in developing renewable (wind, solar, BESS) projects in the UK and/or abroad
• Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
