Form of workWe are searching for a motivated and skilled Solar Electrician to join a growing Operations and Maintenance Solar PV Team based in Shrewsbury.

Solar Electrician Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing for solar PV systems.
- Proactively replace or repair components to prevent system downtime, ensuring optimal Solar Plant availability.
- Execute corrective maintenance, including fault finding, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on all solar PV systems, with a focus on mechanical and electrical diagnosis of Power Inverters.
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance records using computer-based service reporting procedures.
- Provide responsive out-of-hours and weekend support.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Deliver training sessions to enhance the technical knowledge of other employees.
- Collaborate with the Technical Manager to develop solutions.
Solar Electrician Requirements:
- Experienced Electrician (Solar experienced desired but not essential, training provided)
- Proficient in troubleshooting and fault-finding
- Familiarity with Power Inverters.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and management/reporting systems. Ability to utilize diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
- Flexible availability for overtime work on weekends, bank holidays, and short notice.
