Solicitor apprentice
As part of our vision to create a dynamic and highly skilled legal team, we are now looking for 2 enthusiastic candidates to join us as Solicitor Apprentices. These are new posts that will allow individuals to develop their expertise over the 6 years of the apprenticeship, working alongside existing lawyers and their teams, whilst undertaking a period of study with our apprenticeship provider. Successful completion means candidates will be fully qualified solicitors at the end of the apprenticeship, with all tuition fees paid by the council.

This is a career graded post covering grades HC03/4 (£22,737/£23,114) to HC08 (£33,945). Progression through these grades will be subject to successful completion of the course, and evidencing increased responsibilities as outlined in the job description.
 
The apprenticeship will be delivered over 6 years, with a mixture of distance online and study weekends with our apprenticeship provider (currently Nottingham Trent University). More details can be found here Solicitor Apprenticeship | Nottingham Trent University
Enrolment on to the apprenticeship starts in September 2024 or September 2025.
