The Client:
Our client is a well-established law firm, providing a range of legal services catering to both personal and business needs.
The Role:
As a Solicitor, youll be independently managing the caseload of Dispute Resolution. You will also supervise secretaries, paralegals, trainees, and others as needed.
Duties:
-Undertake legal work aligned with core values.
-Meet monthly and annual fee earning targets.
-Manage debtors appropriately, including obtaining funds in accordance with departmental policy.
-Build, maintain, and nurture a network for winning new work.
-Foster relationships with existing and past clients for repeat instructions.
-Engage in ad hoc business development activities as needed.
Requirements:
-Previously worked as a Dispute Resolution Solicitor or in a similar role.
-Minimum 8 years PQE in High and County Courts.
-Experience in a respected Dispute Resolution/litigation team.
-Expertise in contract disputes, contentious probate, landlord and tenant disputes, commercial disputes, and partnership disputes.
-Essential experience in mediation and/or ADR.
-Proven track record in managing support staff.
