Our exclusive MSP client are looking to hire an exceptional Solutions Architect who will truly add value to their client/customer base. You will be mapping out customers solutions at the highest level of responsibility, creating specs for upcoming projects for large scale enterprise size businesses.
Crucially, our client offers a 24/7 service, so you will need to be ready to act in a moments notice to travel to customer sites across the UK. Ultimately the role involves home working, office days and approx. 30% of the job travelling to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Listen to, question, interpret and understand client or prospect business, technology, service and automation challenges.
- Build a clear project delivery communication and update plan from outset to completion and schedule resources to review and provide those communications.
- Build a compelling commercial and technology solution utilising both in-house and third party resources.
- You will be running entire project timelines and ensuring all Engineers/Teams are meeting their designed (by you) project deadlines.
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft 365 Enterprise Experience.
- Azure Virtual Server / Storage Experience.
- Azure P1/P2 Azure AD, AD.
- Cyber Security (Malware, Phishing, Content Filtering, Firewalls etc).
- Networking and Routing.
- Microsoft Server 2012R2 Upwards.
- VMWare / Hyper V.
- Acronis / VEAM Backup Experience.
Planning Skills:
- Understands or used to working in ITIL Methodology.
- Understands the need for compliance (ICO 2000/270001) or has had some exposure to it.
