Solutions Architect
Position Overview: We are actively seeking a seasoned professional with a knack for innovative data solutions to join our Clients team as a Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping and implementing cutting-edge data architecture strategies, focusing on optimising ETL processes, leveraging cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS, and championing impactful Data Engineering initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Data Architecture Design:
Craft agile and scalable data architecture strategies that align seamlessly with organisational objectives. Pioneer the development of streamlined ETL pipelines to enhance data integration efficiency and effectiveness.
Technological Prowess:
Exhibit mastery in leveraging Azure and AWS cloud services to revolutionise data storage, processing, and analytics. Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, driving innovative architectural implementations.
ETL Pipeline Enhancement:
Lead the charge in designing and refining ETL pipelines, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to grasp intricate data requirements and deliver tailored ETL solutions.
Advanced Data Modeling:
Implement robust data models tailored to meet present and future business demands, prioritising performance optimisation and scalability.
Steering Large-scale Data Engineering Initiatives:
Take the helm in major Data Engineering endeavors, offering invaluable technical insight and guidance to project teams. Play an integral role in defining data architecture prerequisites and contributing to strategic project planning.
Effective Documentation and Communication:
Thoroughly document data architecture designs, ETL methodologies, and data models for clarity and future reference. Engage in clear and concise communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications and Expertise:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent. Proven track record as a Data Architecture Specialist, with hands-on experience in ETL pipelines, Azure, Snowflake, and large-scale Data Engineering endeavors. Demonstrated proficiency in crafting and implementing scalable data architecture solutions. Deep understanding of Azure and AWS services for comprehensive data management and analytics. Extensive knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing architecture and implementation practices. Hands-on experience in ETL pipeline development and data model optimisation. Familiarity with industry best practices in data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
