Form of workWe have an excellent opportunity for a Solutions Design Engineer to join a leading automation company that specialises in warehouse automation.
The role would sit within the small but expanding Solutions Design team and will offer a high level of exposure to large scale automation projects with household name companies. The company and the automation sector are both growing in the UK, so this is a great opportunity to grow with a company and move forward with us bringing new innovations to market.
What’s needed for me to be considered for the Solutions Design Engineer role?
- Interested in warehouse design, automation, and robotics.
- Competent using CAD software, preferably AutoCAD (2D) and Inventor (3D).
- Able to look at complicated systems and understand how they function as well as their strengths and limitations.
- Strong numerical skills, able to rationalise large data sets into useable design figures -Using Excel and/or Power BI.
- Strong organisational skills to manage priorities across multiple projects.
- Ability to create and explain innovative solutions.
- Relevant experience within warehousing or automation
