Pay rate: From £23.50

The Trust is delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join their Team. The post holder will work within the ultrasound department and be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations at a high standard of competency.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

• HCPC Registration
• Degree in Radiography or equivalent
• Post Graduate diploma in medical ultrasound or equivalent
• General radiographic experience
• Experience of clinical teaching in ultrasound
• First line management experience
• Experience of clinical audit and statistical analysis

Role Details:

• To be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations with the responsibility for issuing independent reports in areas where you are deemed to be competent and have the appropriate Trust indemnity.

• To maintain a high standard of ultrasound competency and patient care at all times.

• To develop any specialised areas of interest in ultrasound techniques.

• To be responsible for ultrasound procedures, patient care and staff movement within their work area.

• To deliver a patient focused sonography service varying working practices to meet patient needs and making decisions based on clinical knowledge in the absence of protocols or practice precedents.
