This is an rare opportunity to work for one of the most exciting live event companies that provides audio systems for live events across the UK and around the globe. They have experienced consistant growth since their establishment 45 years ago, and have worked on several historical live events in their history. A few of the events they have worked on as a company have included Glastonbury, the 2012 Olympics Ceremony, the Queens Jubilee and with most of the biggest musical names of the past 30 years, and some of the most memorable gigs.

On a daily basis you will oversee the operations within the Technical Department with a focus on the Amplifier sub-department. Responsibilities include preparing, maintaining, and ensuring the quality of equipment, providing technical support to staff and freelance crew, managing stock using specialized software, conducting PAT Testing, supervising team members, and training apprentices and warehouse operatives for their professional growth. Additionally, the role involves deputizing for the Head of Department as needed and handling various tasks to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

THE ROLE

* Collaborate with the Head of Department to allocate equipment across projects, ensuring efficient utilization.
* Prepare, maintain, and test Amplifier and Drive equipment at departmental standards, handling fault finding, repairs, and cleaning.
* Oversee equipment post-use, conducting evaluations, and ensure proper storage while providing technical support and supervising staff for smooth warehouse operations
