This is a growing consultancy providing client value through the latest market insight, with a growing presence within the consultancy world. They are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join their team and manage a newly won client account within the private sector as well as existing accounts.
Your new role
As a Sourcing Manager, you will be leading the sourcing activities for the client in the HR and professional services categories across the UK&I, covering both technical and quality performance. This would include the entire process of finding and vetting suppliers through data collection and negotiating contracts. You will be designing and implementing adequate strategies whilst ensuring continuity and risk mitigation. Working directly under the Senior Sourcing Manager, you will have a tea, of 3 reporting to you requiring guidance and support.What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a proven track record of contract negotiations, as well as experience within the HR and professional services categories. For this role, prior private sector and consulting experience are a requirement. Therefore, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to thrive in this environment. Effective time management is a necessity for this role, as you will be expected to manage multiple projects at a time.
What you'll get in return
Salary will be up to £70,000 depending on experience, with a discretionary 10% bonus. You will be required to go into the office 2 days a week in central London - one day you will be on-site with clients in central London.What you need to do now
