Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our client’s dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As the Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision. This role is perfect for someone looking to progress to a Head Chef position within 2-3 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus
• Oversee food preparation and ensure high standards of quality and presentation
• Manage kitchen staff, including training and scheduling
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Contribute to the creation of new dishes and seasonal menus

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP role in a high-quality restaurant or club
2. Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
3. Strong leadership and organisational skills
4. Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
6. Creative and passionate about food and hospitality
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
