Role: Programme Director
This is a critical interim role reporting to the Chief Executive and Transformation Board.
Purpose of job:
To lead the definition and development of an organisation wide transformation programme, working in partnership with the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to provide specialist capability, strategic direction and leadership to the transformational change of Southampton City Council.
To be accountable for the successful development and delivery of cross cutting transformation programmes aligned to the Corporate Plan to deliver the council's Medium Term Financial Strategy and changing council wide operating models, leading to continuous improvement in service delivery and performance. To develop and implement a skills and knowledge transfer plan over the period of the assignment to ensure sustainability.
To manage through delivery of identified high value priority savings proposals.
The role will require 3 days on site.
