Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Spanish Specialist MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher to join Teaching Personnel to work in a plethora of fantastic schools. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive Spanish language curriculum, aligned with educational standards and tailored to the needs of diverse student populations.
• Employ effective pedagogical strategies to engage students in meaningful language learning experiences, fostering linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation.
• Utilize a variety of instructional resources, technology, and assessment tools to support student learning and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Spanish language and culture into interdisciplinary units and school-wide initiatives.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, communicating effectively to support student success.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices in language education and instructional methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Modern Foreign Languages, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• QTS is absolutely essential.
• Valid teaching certification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Spanish at the primary or secondary level, demonstrating expertise in language acquisition and proficiency assessment.
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to promoting an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a professional setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
