Supply Desk are seeking an SEND Teacher for a SEND school in near Southampton

Starting from February 2024 –  July 2024

Pay To scale

Hours: full time

Job Description:

  • Desire to work in a mixed age range class (4-7 or 7-11 year olds)
  • Working to support children’s English, Maths, Foundational Subjects and Social Skills
  • Familiar with working with children who have complex needs
  • Full time role
  • Location: Close to central Southampton
  • Start Date: February 2024
  • Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent

Individual Profile:

  • QTS certificate
  • Completed ECT induction years
  • Experience of working with children with additional needs
  • Passionate, enthusiastic and resilient individual
  • Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
  • First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
